The General Assembly consists of all founding and working members who have held membership for at least one year and have fulfilled the obligations imposed on them in accordance with the Society's bylaws.
The General Assembly convenes by an invitation addressed by the Chairman of the Board, or whoever the Board of Directors authorizes, to each of its working members, specifying the place of the meeting, its date, and the agenda. The invitation and agenda are sent fifteen days before the date of the General Assembly meeting by one of the means that ensures each member's knowledge of the invitation.
The General Assembly is called for an ordinary meeting at least once a year during the four months following the end of the Society's fiscal year, in order to ratify:
- The Board of Directors' report on the year's work and the auditor's report.
- The budget and final account (financial statements).
- The draft estimated budget for the year following the final account.
- The election of Board of Directors members in place of those whose membership has lapsed or ended.
- The appointment of the auditor and the determination of his fees.
- Any other matters the Board of Directors sees fit to include on the agenda.
You may refer to the Society's bylaws to learn the remaining conditions for convening ordinary and extraordinary General Assemblies.
