What We Do

The Professional Qualification

For members, the ESAA qualification opens doors to strategic positions at major companies and institutions in Egypt and the Middle East. It also accelerates members' ability to practice accounting and auditing on the highest special registers of the Central Auditing Organization, the Central Bank of Egypt, and the Financial Regulatory Authority. The ESAA qualification further enables members to continue their professional studies with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), which grants our members a large number of exemptions from its required examinations.

Developing the Profession

We are members of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), and we shape the profession's public policy locally, as well as demonstrating thought leadership in education, training, and ethics. We work at the local level to share our insights and advice on proposed legislation. We also play a tangible role in developing educational standards at national universities.
