The Egyptian Society of Accountants & Auditors (ESAA) is the qualifying center for certified public accountants in the Arab Republic of Egypt. ESAA represents a thriving community of more than 2,000 members and fellows and over 5,000 accountants under training who represent the Society's future members, and it upholds the highest professional and ethical values.
The ESAA qualification develops forward-thinking professionals who possess the financial and business skills essential to building sustainable economies and prosperous societies. We build public trust by supporting a profession of people committed to a high professional and ethical charter, who are dedicated to updating their skills to meet ever-changing needs.
We believe that accounting is a profession essential to society, supporting both the public and private sectors. That is why we are committed to developing a strong accounting profession and the many benefits this brings to organizations, individuals, and society.
Since our founding in 1946 as one of the most important professional institutions in Egypt and the world, under the Royal Decree issued on 24 April 1946, our core goal has been to work vigorously for the public good.
Our reputation precedes us
We lead the way in the accounting profession. Our expertise is widely recognized, and our opinion is sought by the state, official bodies, employers, and the media on all professional and economic matters.
ESAA membership is the gold standard in accounting, opening doors to highly respected and engaging work in any sector. Our professional qualifications have been officially benchmarked by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) to a level that grants exemptions from most of its qualifying exam papers. This means our members can benefit if they wish to continue their studies toward the ACCA qualification.
