Resolution of the Society's Board of Directors No. (1/2014), session of 19/2/2014

Amending the admission requirements for holders of professional certificates from international institutes and associations accredited by the Society

The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Society of Accountants & Auditors resolved to amend the admission requirements for holders of professional certificates from international institutes and associations accredited by the Board of Directors, to become as follows: First: Holders of a professional certificate from international institutes and associations accredited by the Society's Board of Directors 1- For the CA and ACCA certificates

They sit the examination of two subjects:

1- Taxation (Final Level)

2- Law and Conduct of Accounting and Auditing Practitioners

With the condition of practicing the profession for at least 3 years before sitting the examination.2- For the rest of the professional certificates other than those mentioned above and accredited by the Society's Board of Directors.

They sit the examination of the subjects:

1- Financial Accounting (Final Level) 2 – Taxation (Final Level) 3- Law and Conduct of Accounting and Auditing Practitioners

With the condition of practicing the profession for at least 3 years before sitting the examination.

Second: These rules take effect starting from the Society's examinations of the December 2014 session.

Third: In all cases, the rest of the other conditions approved by the Society's Board of Directors remain in effect
