The Tax Impact of the Amendments to Egyptian Accounting Standard No. 13 — The Effects of Changes in Foreign Exchange Rates. The Egyptian Society of Accountants & Auditors (ESAA) organized an online seminar titled "The Tax Impact of the Amendments to Egyptian Accounting Standard No. (13) — The Effects of Changes in Foreign Exchange Rates", following the issuance of Prime Minister's Decree No. 1568 of 2022, amending certain provisions of the Egyptian Accounting Standards by adding Appendix (B) attached to this decree to Egyptian Accounting Standard No. (13) on "The Effects of Changes in Foreign Exchange Rates". The speakers were Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hisham El-Hamawy, Advisor to the Minister of Finance and Fellow of the Society, Mr. Mohamed El-Moataz, Board member and Chairman of the Standards Committee, and Mr. Sayed Issa Abd Rabbo, Board member and Chairman of the Tax Committee, in conversation with Dr. Farid Fawzy, Board member and Chairman of the Cultural Committee and the Journal.
