Applying the New Foreign Currency Standard from 1 January 2024

On Monday, 20 May 2024, Egypt's financial and accounting scene witnessed a notable event, as the Egyptian Society of Accountants & Auditors (ESAA) organized an online seminar to discuss the new amendments to the Egyptian Accounting Standards. This seminar, which ran from 8:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., provided a platform for experts to present their views on the significant changes that will affect accounting practices in the country.
